SEND / Local Offer

Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities and the Local Offer

At Lace Hill Academy, we aim to provide the highest quality education for each and every child in partnership with parents. To achieve this we build positive relationships with each child, allowing us to know them as individuals, providing high quality teaching for all children and creating strong links with our parents. We recognise that every child we work with has individual needs and sometimes it may be appropriate for a child to receive further additional support to help them achieve their full potential.

The school is committed to providing for children who have Special Education Needs/Disabilities and to developing cultures, policies and practices which are inclusive.

We aim to provide a broad and balanced curriculum that meet the needs of all pupils promoting their spiritual, moral, social and cultural development. We do not discriminate against any individual on grounds of gender, transgender, race, disability, age, pregnancy, sexual orientation, background or religious belief.

Our SENDCo is Mrs Sarah Cairns who can be contacted by emailing senco@lacehillacademy.co.uk
