Lace Hill Academy

School Closure 5th January Information

4th January 2021

Dear Parents/Carers,

Following the announcement from Boris Johnson tonight about a new national lockdown for England, Lace Hill Academy will be closed to all children tomorrow.

Although not the start to the term we had hoped for, as a school we are prepared and ready for this outcome; remote learning will be sent home to all children for use tomorrow by 9.30 am via Parentmail with details for the rest of this week.

Children classified as those from Key Worker or vulnerable groups will receive information about their provision tomorrow by Parentmail which we plan to start from Wednesday.

Staff will be in school tomorrow working through essential administration items and preparing for additional remote learning and reorganisation of their classrooms for key worker and vulnerable children.

We will continue to work together to ensure the highest standards of education for all the children at Lace Hill during this lockdown, even if we can't all be in person as we had hoped.

 Best Wishes,

 Ms Ally Morgan
