We are delighted to announce the appointment of a new Headteacher for Lace Hill Academy. Ms Ally Morgan BA Hons PGCE who was able to accept our offer on 1st June 2019. Alison’s warmth of personality, primary experience and outstanding leadership skills shone through at interview, making her the perfect fit for the academy and the Trust.
Speaking of her appointment Ms Morgan said, “Lace Hill is a school from which happiness and warmth radiates in abundance. I believe passionately that children need a secure foundation from which to grow and flourish in all areas, and I am so looking forward to leading the Lace Hill family further in its support and development of every single young person’s abilities and aptitudes, whatever those may be. I am committed to the continued success of the school and the Trust, maintaining and building on its strong vision and objectives.’’
Previously, Ms Morgan has been a Headteacher at a village school in Oxfordshire, as well as being seconded by the Diocese of Oxford to support a large all-through school in Bucks at Aylesbury Vale Academy.
Lace Hill Academy opened in September 2015 as the heart of a large new build community in Buckingham. Since opening, the school has grown to accommodate all primary year groups and has been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted. The academy is proud to be part of Bourton Meadow Education Trust. A Multi Academy Trust that currently has 4 schools; Lace Hill Academy, George Grenville Academy, Bourton Meadow Academy and a Teacher Training Organisation in Buckingham. With Lumbertubs Primary and Spring Lane Primary School in Northampton.
